During the application process, all applicants must undergo extensive background checks by the State of California and have been Certified by the State to work as security officers/ agents.

We conduct our own in-house background checks, and random drug testing. Because the Bay Area is at the very center of the high tech industry, as a condition of employment with Security Special Services, every employee is required to sign a Confidentiality And Non-Disclosure Agreement which helps to protect all our clients.

Our on-going training and certifications programs help to ensure that our personnel are more than capable of performing as private security professionals.

All pre-assignment training is conducted in-house by or at the direction of one or more of our Homeland Security Certified Trainers. After the rigorous training and testing is complete, the new hire will move on to field training.

Our officers ar trained to Deter, Detect, Report, & Contact. Deter crime by presenting a strong visible presence. Detect any and all unusual activity by being vigilant. Report and record all officer on site activity in the log books and/or action reports. Contact police/emergency services and/or client contact in case of an incident.
